  • Parties to a corporate transaction or proceeding: In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution, or similar event, Personal Information may be part of the transferred assets.
  • Public authorities and legal proceedings: We may disclose Personal Information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as required by law, and disclose and use such information as we believe necessary or appropriate to (a) comply with applicable laws and lawful requests and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities; (b) enforce the terms and conditions that govern the Site; (c) protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of you or others; and (d) protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity.

International Data Transfers and Third-Party Platforms

Qin & Associates is based in the United States, and our servers are located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States and provide Personal Information to us, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

WeChat / WeCom: We may use WeChat / WeCom, a communication platform operated by Tencent, to communicate with certain clients and contacts. WeChat / WeCom’s servers are operated by Tencent and may be located in the People’s Republic of China. By communicating with us through WeChat / WeCom, you acknowledge that your communications and any Personal Information shared through that platform may be transmitted to and stored on servers located outside of the United States, including in the People’s Republic of China, where data protection standards may differ from those in the United States. We encourage you to review Tencent’s privacy policy for more information about how your data is handled on that platform. California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) of 2020, provides California residents with several consumer privacy rights. These rights include:
